My family loves eating here! Everyone is so nice and the food is delicious. We like the street tacos, enchiladas, ceviche and the shrimp quesadilla. Also, the churros and ice cream is so good!
La Esmeralda is the best of both worlds--a restaurant and a sports bar combined! The atmosphere is vibrant, and the staff was so friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The food here is fantastic! I absolutely loved their birria tacos; they were full of flavor and hit the spot. I also tried their fajita burrito, which was massive and packed with delicious flavors. It's definitely a must-try if you're looking for something filling and tasty. To top it all off, I highly recommend their fried ice cream. It was the perfect sweet ending to a great meal. One of the better Mexican food restaurants in the SCV. Pozole is good on the weekends. During the week the shrimp plates, flautas and costillitas en salsa verde hit the spot. Their chili oil goes good on everything. Cold beer and good service...cheers!

Updated review Stopped here for lunch on a recent Sunday and the food was so good and so was the service!! Loved the tortilla chips...so yummy! Their salsa and guacamole were perfectly seasoned! Tacos were amazing as was the burrito!! Can't beat a 20 oz beer at a ridiculously low priced. Would definitely come back here!!
